UntiedShoes developed this beautiful eCommerce website for this online baby gifts retailer, that specialises in baby gift baskets, baby hampers and personalised baby gift boxes.

The brief was simple; the site had to appeal to a certain market (mainly women), had to have a friendly, family run feel to it, be simple to use, search engine friendly, and have an on-site payment facility.

Victoria at DaisyDean required some custom functionality to her eCommerce system, mainly the ability for a customer to add a personal message to each gift at the purchasing stage. This message can then be stitched, printed or embossed onto various products. The tricky bit was this was only to be available on a certain amount of products, and needed to not be shown on products where this functionality was not required.

The website uses SagePay as the credit card processer; all credit card details are encrypted, then sent to SagePay for verification. At this stage, if the customer has set-up 3D secure on their card, they are requested to enter these details.

As long as everything is fine, and the funds are available in the customer’s account, then SagePay send a message back to the DaisyDean website basically saying everything was ok, complete the order.
